Everything about it sucks. You can only make reservations online, you can't start a reservation on a Friday sat sun or mon. Has to be a minimum of 4 days stay. Plus so many of other restrictions
For a county park this is a clean, well maintained campground. Reasonably priced. Plan ahead if you need certain dates or hookups. Big beach at Ocean, and can see sunset over bay. Most sites do not have a water view, but are a short walk from one. Sites are not big but have a cement patio.
Need to take care of the bug epidemic
They worst experience of my life I came from South Carolina to visit some friends and when I was leaving I went to go and get my children from my friends camper and they basically refused to let me in to go and get my kids. They let me in to turn around and I went I got my kids and the park ranger followed me saying I was speeding and I wasn't I proceeded to get my kids in the car as I wanted to in the first and left as the park ranger followed me out. ...i mean this is an out rage. I just wanted to get my kids from the campground so they didn't have to walk so far and it of control I will never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone ever.
5 feet form a virtually empty, endless beach. Beautiful
